You do
not have to go to Canada for great Walleye fishing! Here at Salmon Haven you have your choice of trolling Lake Ontario at
night for huge Walleye averaging over 9 pounds, trolling Lake Ontario during the day for Walleye averaging in the 4-5 pound
range, having an action packed day jigging for Walleye which average between 2-4 pounds on Oneida Lake or as many people do,
spend one day doing each! Our Walleye season begins on the first Saturday of May and the fishing stays good into July. In
July we still catch Walleye, but our Bass fishing explodes. It is very common to catch both smallmouth and largemouth Bass in the 4-5 pound range. In 2006 when the Bass
Masters tour decided to try Oneida Lake out for one of their tournaments the pro's averaged 200 Bass/ day!!! Needles to say,
they will be back again (and on ESPN) this summer. Those of you who like a great eating fish, try Perch. It is not uncommon
for us to catch 200 - 400 Perch in a day! We fish Oneida and Lake Ontario for Bass and Perch. See you this summer for some
