Here at Salmon Heaven Lodge we run charters
on Lake Ontario and Oneida Lake for a variety of fish. On Lake Ontario we begin in April fishing for football size Brown Trout,
and then monster Walleyes, Steelhead, King and Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Bass and Pike. The peak Salmon season is in August
and September. On Oneida Lake we begin fishing for Walleye the first Saturday in May and catch Walleye and Bass all summer.
Capt Harry has been working on fishing charters from Cape May New Jersey to Anclote Key Florida to the Great Lakes since he
was 16 years old. Harry has a 25 ton vessel Master Coast Guard (#1157042) and commercial towing license for the Great Lakes,
USA inland waters, near coastal waters as well as being CPR, First Aid, and Boater Safety Certified and a liscened New York
Guide. Harry also is a member of the New York and Oswego County guide associations and the Altmar/ Albion business association.
At Salmon Heaven we will always work hard to insure the best trip possible. We fish on a 26' 6" long, 10 ft. beam Penn
Yan and a 27' long 10' beam Sportscraft. Both are fully equipped with four Down Riggers, 2 sonars, GPS, Temperature and Speed
Sensors, Marine Radio and a closed in cutty cabin to get out of the any bad weather and a head. We also fish from Drift Boats
and a 19' long Alumacraft for Walleye, Bass, Pike and Brown Trout.
