Lodge and Guide Service Offers:
We are located in Altmar, NY at the head waters of the famous Salmon River. We are
in walking distance to the Fly-Fishing section of the Salmon River and the Altmar bridge/ boat ramp. Our river is a World
Class Salmon, Steelhead and Brown Trout fishery. We offer professionally Guided drift boat and wading trips for the Salmon
River, Oswego River, Black River as well as several smaller streams and Lake Ontario tributaries. We offer Lake Charters
on Lake Ontario and Oneida Lake. Our lodging is in well maintained private rooms each with shower and satellite TV (180
channels including HBO). We offer a spacious Lounge with fly-tying facilities, big-screen TV and a breakfast buffet
and 24-hr coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Attached to our lounge is a wader room and washer and dryer for your use. Our entire
lodge offers free Internet service. We are a short walking distance to restaurants and own a tackle shop and tavern with
all of your Salmon River needs and an excellent breakfast and lunch menu, on Friday nights we offer a 14oz Prime Rib and
on Saturdays rotisserie chicken. In addition to all of this, we have direct access to ATV & Snowmobile Trails, Whitewater
Rafting & Kayaking. Salmon Heaven offers free wireless Internet access, Grills for your use
and fire pits to enjoy!
It is time to set your trip up for Lake Ontario!!! The Brown trout
fishing on Lake Ontario is fantastic and there is even some King Salmon showing up! Walleye season begins next Saturday! Don't
